Pamela G
Founder & CEO

Pam has lived and worked in NY State her entire life, including Long Island, Manhattan, and the Hudson Valley. She has been a licensed Architect since the 1990's where she specialized in building materials and worked as a planner. As a career-changer, she founded Fit and Fun Playscapes as a result of a volunteer experience that inspired her and the challenges her children had faced in school. She just felt like she could help kids, and has since grown her idea into a thriving business promoting the benefits of daily movement for all ages and abilities.

Pam holds a Bachelors of Architecture from New York Institute of Technology. She is a well-known and respected member of the local business community, and has received numerous awards for her work, entrepreneurship, and community partnerships. She is frequently invited to participate in podcasts and panel discussions, and travels throughout the country, giving presentations on the benefits of movement and inclusive activities. She has partnered with several organizations to help develop and test activities for individuals of all ability levels, and was recently named to the Board of Directors for Abilities First, a not-for-profit serving the needs of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities..

Being a mom of three boys has always kept her active and Fit, but she also loves late night walks, hiking and skiing. For Fun — a good, funny movie on the couch and sailing on the Hudson with her husband.

Mitzy
Operations Manager

Throughout her diverse career spanning over three decades, Mitzy has donned various roles—ranging from publishing and freelancing to management consulting and entrepreneurship. As a previous small business owner, she understands the complexities and challenges that face small businesses, and keeps things running smoothly at Fit and Fun!

Mitzy completed the Executive Leadership Program through the Dutchess County Chamber Foundation, and is a member of the Women's Leadership Alliance. She holds a BA in Communications from Mount Saint Mary College and a MS in Publishing from Pace University.

She keeps Fit by playing with her dog and going for walks on the rail trail. For Fun, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going for drives in her Jeep, exploring craft breweries and wineries with her husband, and playing drums in a Bagpipe Band.

Todd
Production Manager

With a career spanning over four decades, specializing in the Exhibit, Trade Show, and Signage industries, Todd is THE expert understanding of evolving trends and technologies in the printing field, especially large format. Todd was instrumental in bringing all of our production in-house and has streamlined our production process to get our products into your hands as quickly as possible!

To keep Fit, Todd is always on his feet at Fit and Fun, and to have Fun, Todd enjoys racing motorcycles, remote control cars, and traveling to Disney.

Dylan
Marketing Specialist

Dylan has been employed by Fit and Fun Playscapes for over 3 years, starting as an intern and advancing to his current position, as the Marketing Specialist. He has experience outside of his Fit and Fun tenure with other digital marketing firms in behavioral health and finance areas. Currently, Dylan is in charge of all aspects of digital marketing including ads, outbound marketing, SEO/ SEM, and various content. He is completing his Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, with a Minor in Finance in the spring of 2025, and plans to further his career with Fit and Fun Playscapes after graduation.

To stay Fit, Dylan likes to exercise regularly at the local fitness center. Dylan likes to have Fun, by hiking and exploring the nearby Adirondack Mountains and sailing the beautiful Lake Champlain.

Sandra
Production Associate

Sandra worked in dental office management for 17 years, and after Covid hit she realized that she wanted a more physically active and creative job, so Fit and Fun was the perfect fit for her! She keeps busy learning the ins and outs of printing to ensure our orders are produced timely.

Originally from Brooklyn, Sandra moved to the Hudson Valley in the late 90's to be closer to family.

She keeps Fit working on backyard projects, especially woodworking and revamping old furniture. She stays Fun by keeping up with her teen, who keeps her in the loop and on her toes.

Sadie
Workplace Wellness Coordinator

Sadie is always up for a snuggle session, especially if you have some tasty treats to share. She's a yoga enthusiast, often striking the Warrior Pose or catching some Z's in a relaxed Downward Dog position.

To stay Fit and Fun, Sadie loves to chase after balls (even if she never brings them back) and can often be found digging up the backyard for some playful fun.

FIT AND FUN COMMUNITY

  • It takes a village—and we’ve got a pretty incredible one. Our strategic and community partners are the magic-makers who help us dream big and do even bigger. Whether they’re helping us roll out new ideas (literally!), cheer us on from the sidelines, or dive into action alongside us, these folks bring heart, energy, and a whole lot of awesome to everything we do. These partnerships fuel our mission, amplify our impact, and help us bring inclusive, movement-based experiences to people of all abilities. From local organizations to national allies, our partners are the heart of our community—and we’re grateful for their support, collaboration, and belief in what we do. We couldn’t do it without them—and honestly, we wouldn’t want to!
