Kevin Yarnell is a K-5 physical education teacher from Rhinebeck Public Schools in Rhinebeck, New York. Kevin is the Social Media Director for NYS AHPERD - Southeastern Zone, as well as a physical education consultant, grant writer, personal fitness trainer, and life coach!
Kevin has been a friend of Fit and Fun Playscapes for many years, having been introduced to the company through NYS AHPERD. He is an educator who not only embraces the rapidly changing technologies available to physical education professionals but thrives in finding new ways to teach. He enjoys teaching with a huge 72-inch flat-screen television in the gym, which he uses to engage his students with fun, hybrid activities.
Other than his teaching duties, Kevin works closely with NYS AHPERD – Southeastern Zone, engaging with other educators on social media on a daily basis. He also has a YouTube channel, K Yarnell, where he shares exercise tips and P.E. lessons for all.
